We've talked about adding a swing to the list of amenities at the Rice Retreat for several years and just haven't taken action on the idea until now.  A few days ago while we were on vacation a jolly fellow asked permission to pull into the drive to 'show us something'.  Turns out he has a business building swings and other furniture from Eastern Red Cedar, one of our favorite woods.  He perfected his current design over the winter and we were indeed impressed with the design AND workmanship.  Anyway, an hour or so later his display model was hanging in a spot under the deck that looked like it was made just for that swing!!  Everyone enjoy and guests please leave us comments below!!
