Security Enhancements

An issue with vacation home rental property is simply, that keys can be duplicated. This poses a potential security and safety concern. Although we have had no problems, nor ever heard of any in the local area, we still have taken an important step to both increase peace of mind when staying

in the property, as well as improve the ease and convenience of access.

We ran across this incredible electronic access unit designed specially for vacation properties. Each guest is issued a unique 6-digit number which is functional with the lock beginning on the date of arrival and ending on the day of departure. No keys are needed, only the number to operate the front door. This eliminates the issues associated with misplacing keys or dropping them in the lake, etc. It should

also work much better for multiple families who may be arriving, entering and departing at different times.

Additionally, we have installed new Schlage Maximum Security deadbolt

locks on the external doors including the front door where the electronic lock is located. No keys to the deadbolts are outstanding. Once inside the house for the night, locking down all the deadbolts secures the doors; code or no code. Feedback thus far has been raving, and we trust this upgrade will be helpful and comforting to you on your next visit.
